I have horrible vibration on the highway and cant figure it out. I have my rims balanced twice. Even went back to stocks with new tires balanced and it wobbles. coming from the driver side from what I can tell. Its scary at 80 on the highway. Ive changed both front wheel bearings both front axles. Can someone help? also how typical is it for the carrier bearing to be the culprit? Does anyone have the part number for it ive tried to find it on JNZ and sent an email but no response. Any help would be appreciated.

check the bolts that hold the drive shaft flanges under the car. That might be the problem I took mine off recently to find that the bolts had corroded and had a bit of play (scary). If that's the problem you can solve the problem by retapping holes and putting new studs in or getting threaded rods welded on. You can also solve the problem by getting an aftermarket 1 piece drive shaft (cost).

It's also possible one of the balancing weights on your drive shaft popped off.

Im seriously thinkingit has to do with the driver side front axle area. all other wheels feel good other then i can hear the rear bearings goign LOL.

Since you have already checked the most obvious things, you might want to try checking out the Inner Axle Shaft bearing for wear or slop, You can easily check the joint/bearing just by pulling and pushing on the inner axle from under the car. If you feel excessive movement I would look into replacing the center bearing…

Another thing to look at would be to check the Tie-Rod ends for wear and slop… if you feel vibration in the steering wheel at higher speed, this could be the culprit also.

Good Luck!

Check all you ball joints. Also, a shot alignment or tie rod assy can cause that.

Thanks I think it might be the inner bearing. I forgot to mention that i bought tie rod ends too i forgot though if it was inner or just the outers.
