I was driving my 1g Eagle Talon and something must have broke because I can’t push the clutch in anymore. It’s not stuck completely stiff, I can push it in a little, but I can’t engage it. Aside from the clutch the car would start and ran just fine except there seemed to be more smoke coming from the exhaust than usual. I wasn’t able to get under it at all because it was on the side of the road at 10 at night. I’ll need to get it towed tomorrow but once its in my garage I’ll be able to get under it and maybe give more details. I’m one of the stupidest people I know, and I’m fairly new to cars. If anyone has any idea what’s going on PLEASE help me :cry::cry:

The clutch disk or pressure plate is the likely culprit.
Agreed. This has happened to my 1g several times mid cruise out of the blue. A dampener spring from the disk, or some other object gets lodged under the pressure plate and prevents full movement/disengagement.

Every time I was able to drive it home, but had to kill the engine at stops then start it in gear and RPM match when (if) I shifted. Avoiding stops and traffic. Unfortunately I burned up 2nd gear synchro the first time by trying to force it in gear, so don't do that!
