what next to reach 300hp

Don do it up, Im interested in this. I have a FWD Talon, and I was thinking of going with the largest res. from SBR, and mounting it inside the indent in the trunck area where my spare use to be. So come on Don what are you waiting for? I want to see that write-up. Also anyone have a pic of someone with a meth set-up that has it injecting into each runner?

I'll get started on it then-- you guys talked me into it. Just remember I have a convertible, which will make the reservoir mounting location a little different than yours. Everything else should be about the same, though. Keep an eye out for it.

Nice sounds good Don, yeah I figured it would be a little different, but I really want to see how you ran your lines. thats one of the few parts that Im stuck on. Im thinking running it next toi the gas lines and drilling through the spare tire hole area, and sealing it up to no bugs, air, rain, or dirt will get inside.

my friends dad had a small 16g and dyno'd 307 whp. i think u should be able to do it, ide loose the 2.5inch dp and get a 3inch. since u wont outflow the 550's ide say turn the boost up a little more. he made that 307 at i think like 20-22 psi. he also has a vpc but that wouldnt make to much of a difference.

How about tuning with DSMlink? I think that would be a great addition. It likely wouldn't yield 40hp on its own in your case, but it would help your existing mods perform better together. That, along with a water/meth system and maybe some better airflow (1g throttle body as Ron mentioned above) might just do it. You'll be able to increase the boost a little bit which will help immensly.

I don't know that you need cams right now. They would help, yes, but I think there are some less expensive/easier to perform mods that can be done first. Get those out of the way first then tackle cams later.

meth/water has to be a good thing.. the 86-92Lancia delta Integrale had it on some awd models. (was standard on the integrale evo) so if Lancia built in those kits from the factory..well im all for it.

I had a very reputable shop (Torque Freaks) do a dyno tune session on the car and at 19 psi had the most power. they went from 17 all the way to 24 psi and 19 is what the engine liked. I am going to install the meth, cold air, throttle body, and have them dyno tune again. I will do cams and internals later.
