I was just wondering what kind of power split the AWD system on a 2g Eclipse GSX/Talon TSI has? Is it 50/50, 70/30, etc. ?

i belive its 60/40 but if you have a welded center dif. its 50/50.

60/40 front to back, or back to front? front to back correct?

and how do I tell if the car has a LSD? its not in my possesion and it didnt come up in a carfax, and the current owner doesnt know if it has one

its a 95 Talon tsi 4wd

look in the door jam on the driver side. it sould have a orange sticker saying it has a lsd. or look at the back cover of the rear end and it should have a white sticker that says lsd.

sigh

torque split front/rear is normally 50/50, and it is a viscous centre differential, meaning this torque split can change depending on conditions.

The lsd sticker on the door jam indictates if the rear differential is limited slip (viscous also)
