okay so i was mounting my huge FMIC last night and there is something in the way of the hot side of the intercooler. its this black box, i think it might be power steering, but im hoping its A/C so i can remove it... im not really looking to get rid of the power steering. if someone can tell me what this is id appreciate it. also if i do need to keep it, anyone have any ideas on how to move this so my IC pipes clear it?
excuse the dirty engine bay she hasnt been cleaned yet :) also sorry for the pic being 90* off.

That is the evaporation canister. If you don't have emission testing than you can just delete it.

+1, Also, there are hoses that come from the passenger firewall to the core support, then way over to the driver front you can get rid of also.

thank god, i dont have emissions... i cant rip it out until i install my newly painted IM with the EGR delete right? i cant wait to get rid of all this emissions junk. probably lose me 50 lbs. then the AC another 40

does someone have a link for how to delete all that stuff?

You do not have to delete the egr to remove that, they are different systems. Just take it all out, plug off the hole on the intake pipe, and install a vent pressure valve on the end of the tank return line.

ill give it a shot tonight or this weekend. if anyone has a thread or link to one that has pictures and sort of a how to get rid of this id appreciate it. if not i might do a write up.

There is a line that goes from the canister to the fuel tank, some people block. Some people put a filter on it, some people block it off, i like to use a pressure relief valve in them. You can cheap plastic ones online for cheap. IT's kind of up to you on how to do it. If you block it off the tank pressure will be very high, if you just vent it than you will have fuel fumes in the engine bay.
