^ ^ ^ exactly right, if that's jibberish to you, it means the distance the pistons travel per stroke is longer- imagine longer arms on the crank of a bicycle. Bigger circle. It'll mean more displacement for the engine.
 
ahh ok i get it so because the piston is farther down in the cylinder, it allows more fuel and air to enter the cylinder and combust? is that right?
