If you get bigger injectors you need some way to control them (ie DSM link, or SAFC). So a bigger pump (walbro 190) would be a better choice. Just follow the upgrade path on this site for your car, and you'll be happy.

I dont believe you need an AFC if you upgrade to 550cc. Guess it all depends on how much boost youre running anyway. 16-17 psi, on 550cc injectors I dont think would be a problem.

Sure you don't need an AFC with 550's...unless you care at all about A/F ratios and gas mileage...

Previous 1G I owned (1990 laser) ran 550ccs, 15 psi for over a little over a year avg around 18-20mpg.

But whatever I only say this because of course I am lying and I really just felt the need to disagree with the post.
