Ok, i found a Laser that is not turbo and has a bad auto trans the body looks pretty good tho. not much if any rust. The guy wants $150 for it.

I was wondering #1 is this a good deal. I was gonna try to get him down to atleast $100.
and #2 if that block would be ok to put in my turbo 2G even tho it is a N/A block. I'm pretty sure the N/A blocks and turbo blocks are diffrent b/c the turbo blocks have oil squirters in them. Would it be ok to put that block in a turbo car anyways tho??

The differences between NA and Turbo blocks (not taking into account 6 bolt or 7 bolt) are just the oil squirters and the channels for the oil to get to the squirters. If you take into account other parts, then the turbo has lower compression pistons, as most turbocharged cars do than their NA counterparts. I also believe that the oil filter bracket is different, since I've seen NA, JDM and turbo filter brackets and they all look different (it might be the years ...) Is it possible to put it in? Yes. Do you save a lot of money versus getting a turbo block? you can save about $700 on an NA longblock over a turbo one.

But for $100-150, you'll definitely want to check out the bearings on the block and the crankshaft. You'd better be safe than sorry and find out that your bearings were bad. I don't think you'll have problems with cooling from the lack of oil squirters unless you start doing some heavy modification.
