The price is definetly right. If you think about it there really isnt much to an intercooler, as long as the fins stay straight then your good to go. Unless of course your goal is a 500whp monster that needs to flow alot of air.

Id say go for it.

I was reading that earlier but did not see this intercooler. They said that ssCRAPchrome intercoolers are good but nothing about this one. Look at the pressure drop the indicate.
1.5 psi. The only reason I looked at this one is that its cheap and the core looks like the pte core. I will only be using it for a 16g so i dont know.

Will i be able to turn the boost up by 1.5 over what i want to offset the pressure drop?

This IC should work fine for a 16g, also you will not need to increase boost pressure, because your boost guage should be hooked up so that it reads the psi entering the motor, not the pressure leaving the turbo.

That will handle a 16g just fine.

that will be fine as every one has stated. dont worry with that 16g just go better if you swap out for a bigger turbo.

It should be fine, but ssautochrome does not have a good reputation in the dsm world.

Not to get off topic but, how do you like the RSR catback. I have the old one and i love it. It is the most silent exhaust i ever heard. Stock is louder.

Im in the market for an intercooler and came accros this thread. Does that intercooler alow you to keep the fog lights?

IN most cases I agree, but intercoolers are a diffrent story. You are not going to convince me that you will make more hp by buying a $1000 apex fmic than spending $300 on a cheap bar and plate ic. Good ic cores are pretty cheap and pretty much a standard thing now, no new science here. I cant see paying good money for a name on my intercooler. Just my .02
