i know there are others, but im tired of just reading them over and over and not knowing what it is exactly, i searched but cant find a clear definition

A quick seearch for abbreviations or acronyms should have produced the answers you are looking for. Anyways a GM MAF is a mass air flow sensor from a general motors vehicle. It is used to meter the amount of air that is going into the intake. It is used in conjunction with the MAFT which stands for mass air flow translator in a "blow through" set up. what it does is it replaces the stock mass air flow sensor on our cars which meters the air for the ecu before going into the turbo. The blow through set up allows you to "vent your BOV to the atmosphere" because the air is metered after the BOV rather than before it as with the stock set up.
The MAFT allows you to tune the the GM MAF so that you can get your air/fuel mixture correct.

The SAFC is the super air flow controller, which is also another tuning device. It is a "piggyback" system which means it is directly connected to your ECU. It also allows you to change your fuel values so that you can get the correct air/fuel mixture.

MAFT- Mass Air Flow Translator, refers to the Ramcharger's Translator that allows you to use a GM MAF on our cars. Besides the additional airflow capacity it also acts as a tuning tool by altering the signal to the ECU thereby changing fuel delivery.

GM MAF/S- General Motors Mass Airflow Sensor, refers to the GM MAS from many different cars that coupled with the Translator can be used on our cars.

SAFC- Super Air Flow Converter, a crude piggyback tuning device that alters the airflow signal to the ECU so that it thinks less air is entering the motor than in reality therefore reducing the amount of fuel injected.
