I'm sure there's a thousand of these threads out there, just wondering what you guys thought...

My car is the stock silver color - as you can see in my gallery, and I've scored up a set of 2gb rims that I plan to get powdercoated since liquidpowdercoats is like 30 mins away from the house

The color that I had wanted was bronze, like that 5zigen color, but today a friend of mine got a set of Rota's in bronze, and i felt like it was too dark, idk if thats a different bronze, but if I got bronze i'd want it to be lighter....but I was just wondering what you all thought...

I know that black is always an option, but post your ideas up...the car as I said is silver, and the black rims that are on there aren't bad looking, but I just painted them with duplicolor for the winter...now that I'm about to get the car back with the 6bolt in, I'm ready to really finish the car up...

after this all I need to do is get some GR2's and some springs, and call it a day...in any event post up your ideas guys...need some help!

powdercoated black would look sweet. i had a dark green mustang and powdercoated the wheels black and it looked SO good. Much better then a previous rattle can job i did. Definitely would look good against that silver!

With that silver car a black accent seems the route I would take. You might be able to pull of that light bronze though...

my headlights are already black, and i plan to cut my n1 muffler off for a dual oval outlet ebay black muffler in the future (just for that closer to stock look as well as less attention from cops, they are pullin cats over crazy lately)

that silver with bronze looks GOOD though, and I run the swirlies in black in the winter, just a duplicolor job...but thanks so far for the input guys, keep it comin!

i assume that if i run the bronze ones for a season and don't like them, i'll just take them back and have them re powdercoated next season - no problem...just would like to try to get it done once and then only have to get rubber...once this stuff is on i am trying not to put anything more than gas in the car...

Ask Martin about the rims he did on the White STi. Pictures are on Tristatetuners somewhere in the 30-40 pages on the thread. ANYWAY the guy got his rims painted a hot pink magenta and it was sooooooo hott!
