Getting a little misfire, tested the fuel injectors and from what i read, on my 92 talon tsi the resistance should be 3-4 ohms. Im getting about 7 on each injectors, so im upgrading to 550 or evo 580s.

My question is what causes this? I understand the basics about injectors but dont fully understand what would cause increased resistance.

Also, I know I shouldnt be but im running a walbro 255 hp with a stock fpr UNTIL I get an AFPR within the next few days. Could running this pump cause too much strain on the stock injectors therefore causing my current problem?

So basically though with the increased resistance theres not enough voltage to open up the pindle inside the injector to allow enough fuel threw?

Yea hopefully this weekend ill be ordering a few parts including new injectors. Thanks for the help man!

any conductor over a period of time increases in resistance. current flows on the outside of a conductive material, the more it degrades, the higher the resistance. in turn, the higher the current needed to accomplish the same task.
