Toronto,
The car 97 GSX with a 6 bolt swap and a 1G throttle Body.

SO I'm sure there are some wires not being in use, I just want to make sure that its supposed to be that way.

#1.

A. On top of the throttle body. I checked the resistance of it to ground and its like 1.2 ohms.
B. Also, there is only one port on the TB and it isn't in use (its closed off with closed end vacuum tube.. very ghetto but works.) What was this supposed to be and why is it not in use. Will feeding seafoam through this go through all my runners?

#2.

This piece here is not plugged into anything and sits on the outside of my headers. Is this the old harness for a 2G throttle body? (it's got 3 prongs inside)

#3 This also in the same spot as #2, it's a harness that goes to some rectangle metal block. What is this???

Well I can't answer all your questions but I can answer one of them.

The hose that is being blocked off was used when all the vaccume lines were on the car. Once the lines were removed that hose was blocked off and is no longer needed.

Also just as a FYI you don't have headers on your car or aleast I hope you don't

#1 is the closed throttle position switch. its a 1g thing so you dont use it. but dont take it out because its also the stop for the throttle plate

#2 is probably the plug for the map sensor. wont hurt anything if its not there but it might set a cel

#3 is the 2g power transistor which there isnt a bracket for anymore because it was mounted on the 2g intake manifold

Let me take a stab at this. Picture one is the 1g idle control switch, the reason you dont see it on a 2g is because it's built into the TPS

Pic 2 looks like the connector for the 2g map.

Pic 3 is your transistor pack

Edit: You beat me to it!
