I need to get an intercooler and a fuel pump, and I was just wondering what brand you guys recommend, and what brands you have had problems with. Also - isn't there a boost control gauge where you can control how much your turbo is boosting from inside your car? Who makes these?
Thanks

uhm... why would you need a intercooler, or boost controler? Your N/A.

that gauge is expensive.

I have a 94 eclipse N/T, but I just bought a 91 Talon AWD Turbo - that's what I want the stuff for. So what's a reasonable price for these things? I found the boost control gauge - if its manual it costs abot $75, but otherwise it's between $300-$500. ouch

upgraded fuel pump is about 80-90 dollars. Most people go with a Walbro.

As far intercoolers go, the Spearco cores are great. The core brand doesnt matter much, as long as its a quality piece that was put together well. Be sure to check what size the endtanks are, and what size piping flows from it.

Boost gauges are pretty cheap, and most people use autometer. any MBC will do.

I have the Buscher street core, and it seems to work for me. I also have the 255 Whinebro(Walbro) fp in both mine. No problems yet. I personally think a digital in car boost controller is a waste of money unless youve got it like that. Most ppl dont adjust theirs enough to need it. Id say save your money and get a MBC,but thats just my .02

I just want a boost control, so when I'm on a roadie I can turn my boost down and get better gas mileage. I don't really need a digital one, a manual would be fine. I'm thinking about going with the bushur fp, cause buschur racing rebuilt my engine, so it would only make sense to stick with buschur racing products, I guess. I just don't know about the intercooler. I want the best I can get for the most reasonable price.

well turning your boost down isnt gonna affect your mileage as much as you just not putting the car into boost. you can keep a steady pace and never go over 5PSI. also once u get into tuning and when ur running bigger turbo/injectors u cant just turn it down without messing up your tuning settings

I believe hallman just released a new boost controller . Updated at least with an in cabin control knob . It is the evolution .HALLMAN EVOLUTION KIT:
Our new Hallman EVOLUTION kit contains the same features of our Hallman Pro Valve. This valve is integrated into a self contained cockpit controller cable system. The cable is 72 inches in length. The kit also contains a mounting bracket, 3 feet of vacuum line, hardware kit and specific installation instructions. Kits are available in both Red and Black.
The self contained cable system will allow the user to control and adjust boost from inside the car. This new system makes it very easy to set initial desired boost level as there is no need to stop the car, open the hood, make an adjustment, and then drive the car and see what boost is. Then repeat the process if boost is not at desired level.
