What 2g logger do you use?

Since Pocketlogger is no longer selling 2G software, I wanted to know what people are
logging with ? I think I am going to get EvoScan, but I think I'll have to get a 98-99 ECU
to get decent speed.

Evoscan is very cool, I got to play with it a few times. I always used PocketLogger when I had my 2g, but OBDguage and PalmnStein are alright as well.

If I get an 98-99 GSX ECU, will I need to do anything special?

You'll have to do the reverse of what the 97+ people do to install DSMLink.

Sorry I wasn't clear.

You'll need to swap spark plug wires, injectors, and/or the cas. I'm not sure of the specifics, because I haven't had to do it.

It's nothing too difficult.

FWIW a 97 ecu logs at high speed as well. You might as well go with the 98/99 ecus though since you can flash them and then you don't need another tuning solution (I didn't check your profile to see if you had one already). You'll also need a cable. The 1.3 costs less but the 2.0 can flash the 98/99 ecus. I believe there is an FTDI based cable that can be purchased on ebay for less than $20.
