Went to dealer for GSX

I was looking for a 5spd GSX but they've either walked or are in bad shape in the local papers. Take a look on ebay motors also... how many people advertise "NEW MOTOR" on their GSX? That's a tipoff

Ill stick with that A/T just to ensure my car is a-ok

hey i have a 95 gsx a/t i'll let it go for 9,500 obo bone stock.or i'll give you $100 dollars if you can figure out why it's stalling..cause the dealer can't.

well you might wanna check my thread in the repair section first"stalling"
other than that int. and ext. are perfect no mods other than an injen intake, but the miles are at about 118, 000 new timing belt,waterpump, oil changed every 3000 miles with synthetic. transfer case, lower control arm ball joints, and gas tank all replaced due to dealer recalls.

98,800 Miles (as of now)
RRE Intakte
1g Bov (needs flange or UICP)
2.5 inch cat-back
Magnaflow muffler with non-rice tip (3 inch or so)
Boost gauge mounted in A-Pillar
Stock infinity sound w/10 disc changer, 2 210watt amps and subwoofer
Timing belt changed at 60k
Oil changed every 3000-3500 miles (Hey im honest,)
I used mobile 1 everytime I changed (did it myself), but I dont know aobut the previous owner.
I was having some idling trouble earlier, but new plugs fixed that (Bosch platniums arent good for our cars! ha)
No accidents, ever, not even a nick
Tan/Black leather interior
Spotless outside, tinted (black car/black tint)
No body/paint damage
Interior very clean, small tear on the far left side of drivers side door (from getting in/getting out)
Other than that the interior is perfect. Matching color lo-tek a-pillar pod I installed.
Let me know if interested - I'm in Irvine, but I'm always between Irvine, Riverside, LA and San Diego (girlfriend/family/friends)
Im a student at UCI, and its either I learn to eat on 1 meal a week, or I sell the car I'm asking $12200 OBO) (hell I just neeed to pay off the $12 I owe, i'm not trying to make a profit)
I bought the car in San Diego earlier last year when I sold my RS. The car has been great..new brakes in the front (needs rotors in the back, I think I'll get those done before I sell)
Fairly new tires (front left is 2 weeks old, I had a flat).
Everything else stock.

whoaaa $12,200 that's a lot for a 98 GSX a/t with that many miles
the dealer wanted $15,500 for the same deal but 50,000 miles, flawless everything, and aftermarket mods

that is alot. i payed 15grand + tax and tags to came out to 16 grand for my 98 gsx. only had 39 k on it. now it has just about 41k. had a greddy bov, a/f,boost gauges, indiglo gauges, altezzas and alum dash kit. imo u cant beat that price. ONLY 38K!!! i looked for sooooo long for a nice gsx. mine has some small keymarks. someone must have not liked the guy. but other then that man, keep lookin. dont give up and just settle for something. ull regret it. 98 up has rarely walked. if u search hard enough i believe their is a poll of whos walked and what year they have. good luck, and keep ur head up!

That's alot?!?! What are you smoking? You're saying that 15,5 was a good deal just cause it had 50,000 miles less???? Look at nada values...98 GSX with 50000 miles, retail is 13,850. Same car with 100000 miles is 12,000. So 15,5 wasn't too much but 12,2 is???? Help me with this one please.

i tell you, people take the blue book value and make it that price, its not worth the blue book value unless someone is willing to pay that much!!!!! 9k-10k would be a more appropriate price, but im not telling u how to price it.

secondly, the more work done to the car just decrease its value if u have it appraised. unless you have all records, i wouldnt buy a car unless it was stock.
