its not a vibration its more like a shake back and forth, mostly from 60-80 or in low mph when i get on it, its weird, i thought it might have been the engine for some odd reason i dont know but its not, i have eurathene motor mounts so im used to the rough ride, but i replaced the lower control arm today-(curved) but its still acting up, now my outer tie rod is also bad because we did the shake down test, up and down is ball joint and left to right is the tie rods and i had play both ways, well the lower control arm ball joint was extremely bad, but even after replacing the problem is still there, could this all be from the outer tie rod, or maybe some bushing or wheel bearing?? or maybe even suspension.

I know my outer tie rod is still a little bad but i think i solved the problem all my wheel weights have fallen off, the metals that are attached to the lip of the rim are still there but there is no weight on them all the weights fell the hell off and the tire is totally unbalanced.

Sounds about right. I've had the same experience in other cars. One time, however, not on a DSM either, my tires were so old that they were actually deformed and wouldn't be in balance while on the move on the highway. ROFL Shaking would come in and out intermittently, when wheels come in and out of balance (while on the highway at higher speeds). New tires solved the problem.

My problem was the axle on the driver side was bent and the passenger side axles joint had a broken bearing.

if you are still getting play when you push the top and bottom in then your upper CA sounds like it is bad too....i had to replace those after i had the recall on the lowers done and the shop didnt tighten the lower CAs down enough....those fookers came loose on the interstate and destroyed the uppers (dern near gave me a heart attack too).

Finally I fixed it about 1 week ago, it was the axles, driver side was bent pretty bad and the passenger side cv joint broke the bearing, so its back to normal im just wondering since hte car is lowered is this what caused this??, i have eibach sportline springs, i think im gonna go with the pro's.
