Alright so i think my front struts are about to eat the horse shit. Any little imperfection on the road and the whole car BANGS. No way to describe it other than hitting a speed bump at 30mph. Every time it hits makes me not want to drive the car anymore. HOWEVER, THIS ONLY HAPPENDS WHEN THE TEMP OUTSIDE is freezing or below. When its above 36 its totally fine. This is weird. I was thinking the piston is getting stuck inside. But it only happens on the right drivers side. All other shocks are fine at any outside temp. I have OEM replacement struts all around as far as I can tell. I sprayed lots of wd40 on the front shocks and it seemed fine so far but its been above freezing a past couple of days. Ichecked the motor mounts. they are fine. Exhaust is solid in place. Again, its coming from the drivers front side only when below freezing. Balljoint seems fine, control arms are solid. Pretty sure its a strut issue. Any ideas?

Okay, I read up online and people say that struts can actually freeze in cold weather. And yes, it bumps on even small imperfections on the road. The thing is, the car doesnt bounce up and down. All i hear and feel is a loud bang that shakes the whole car. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant :(

The strut itself is probably just old and worn. The cold weather will affect the fluid inside especially if there's a leak.
