weird idling problem

okay my car is running like its carberated... when i'm waiting at a red light or if i'm in park the car fluctuates allot from 0-1rpm... and sometimes it drops right too 0 and car stalls i dunno whats wrong and its making me very angry because i just got the thorttle body cleaned. It just goes up and down around 0-1...i think i need too put more torque on the spring or something. But yea please help. Very upset Need help DSMERS!!!!!

If you recently disconnected the battery the ECU is bitching you out for it. Bear with it for an hour of driving. If not its a boost/vac leak. Check the vac line on the BOV and others as well as the intercooler pipes. Make sure you are NOT venting as this will cause stalling since your BOV may be open during idle.

A boost leak test will tell you if you have a vaccum leak. Other than that welcome to a persistent problem for DSMs. This problem has been caused by many things including: Bad ISC, Bad ECU, Bad TPS (or adjustment problems), Bad Mas, exhaust leaks and many others. Use the shop manual to check some of these things. Good luck...you're going to need it --Jon

You said you recently cleaned the throttle body, make sure you put your i/c pipe back on all the way and tightend, make sure the bottom isnt left open like a little bit for acess air to get in . keep us posted

make sure all sensors and conectors are also connected
