Weird BOV sound (pics+vid pls help)

I'd just replace the BOV with one that isn't old and having parts wear out.

Just like everyone else said cept for that one guy, a tight BOV will cause surge.
 
okay with a single spring (bigger) and set as soft as it goes did make a difference. above 5 psi it doesn't "stutter". i can hear the bov working but it doesn't really make noise anymore, just like an air gust.. it used to sort of chirp? now it doesn't idk how to explain it haha. but that's fine with me. i need to find a hose that fits it so i can stop venting to atmosphere.

That's the sound of your turbo thanking you every time you shift.

Your car doesn't have a MAS, so vent away.
 
yes definitly.. compressor surge is when there is not enough pressure in the intercooler piping to open the BOV when it throttle is closed so the air crashes and goes back to the turbo causing that flutter chu chu chu chu sound.. so you must loosen the bov nut or spring and then if you hear the bov is constant under load when throttle is open that means the bov is too loose and its releasing boost..

when you hear surge under load that a wg problem opening and closing..
