Hey guys ive been trying to find a boost leak in my system for the past couple of days and i feel like ive tried everything and nothing works. i hooked it directly to turbo inlet and it didnt read anything at all on my boost leak tester and 1 psi on my autometer. Then i figured well maybe its the new fmic. So i bypassed it and performed it again. Again same results as before. I really dont think its coming from the ic pipes i soaked them all with soapy water and no sign of leaks. Its not coming from the bov either. Please help me guys!! Im giving up hope LOL

Do your boost leak test at the throttle body elbow. You will be able to find any leaks in the vaccum lines. A lot of people have leaks at the throttle body gaskets or the BISS screw. There are some vaccum lines back behind the throttle body that you may not be able to see very easily.

Wow i never even thought of that thanks for the info. I will check that out tomorrow. It just seems that id be able to hear it tho, because my gauge doesnt move at all and all of the air is leaking out. oh well ill report back.

how do i check it its bad? Just plug the other end with something? I just tested it at the TB and still the same results 1 psi and i cant hear anything...

Also i can hear air coming out my tail pipe, i read a little while ago that this isnt good, could be a bent valve??

Sorry its been 10 years since i have responded. I figured out what it was awhile ago. My egr valve was stuck open. So i blocked it off, everything is good now:) Thanks guys.
