Water on cylinder 3 spark plug

This is not for my car but one I am working on, they brought it to me not knowing if it overheats because they do not have a working temp gauge. All i knowis that it is smoking and that there is water on cylinder 3, should I replace the head gasket or can i get some opinions.

It could be the headgasket ,warped head, or head might be cracked.I would take it off and take it to a machine shop and have them check it.

Just take the head off, inspect the head gasket and use a straight edge and feeler blades and check for warping.

yes definitly change the head gasket if its not that then you might need to check your block.
