Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen or heard of wastegates directly activated by a servo or a stepper motor instead of a pressure activated one?I think this would be more accurate and cheaper to control.any thoughts?

Have you ever seen a QUALITY stepper motor out of a DSM, it just dosent exist. Whats wrong with a vaccum activated Wastegate? They are proven to have no problems. Why re-invent the wheel? PLus there is nothing inaccurate about the stock wastgate, maybe its your boost gague thats not accurate? Did you ever think of it that way?

Like we say...If it aint broke...dont fix it.
