I washed my engine, because the clown i bought my car from didn't clean it very well, ever... so i took it upon myself to bring it back to life. specially since i bought chrome hard pipes and the dirty ass engine looks stupid... anyway, back to topic.
I washed the engine all up nice like, and when i turned on the car later (few hours) the CEL was on. Now i know i got somethin wet and it will dry. the next day i reset the battery, drove the car, and it came back on. I took it to autozone, and the guy said all it came up as was emission control. What the hell does that mean. All the trouble codes are emission control.
The car runs fine, boosts fine, idles fine, 02 is workin good, has good voltage, and the check engine light still glistens on the dashboard.
What did I do?
