No one in the newbie section helped me, so i figured i'd try 1 last time. I was wondering if i switched from the gen 1 maf-t to the Gen 2 would i jsut need the unit itself since the other is wired up or does it need to be wired different. Also does anyone know how well the Wideband tracking works on the Gen 2?

It needs to be wired in. I wouldn't double post if I were you...
Also, I have no clue what you mean by wideband tracking...? If you're talking about using a wideband on a 2g mas then yes they work.

Could i use the same wiring harness as the gen 1 and by wideband tracking has nothing to do with a 2g mas. I just saw that you have no clue what I'm talking about in the first place. I am running a Gm maf and the Translator i want to switch the 2nd Generation of the translator. If you have a wideband you hook it up to the gen 2 and tell it what af:r you want to run and the Gen 2 adds or pulls fuel to give you the exact Af:r you chose.
I don't want to double post, but i really want an answer and i figured i'd have more luck here. It would suck to get in trouble for double posting or whatever, but if that happens that is fine, because I'd like to know before i invest.
This is what im talking about.

hahaha oooohhhh I see...

Umm, google up the differences between the two and make your own decision...?

I can't really help you here... email the company. that would ahve been your best bet.

As for the wideband tracking - look at the Gen II Manual, it basically explains how it works and how you can set it using a wideband.
