wanting a stiffer rear suspension

[96' Eclipse GS]

I'm thinking of going with a stiffer rear suspension for GS. Why?
Thinking and searched though forums....but no good...
Would a stiffer rear suspension help taking off from start and keep the rear straighter? Ideas and Opinions would be grateful and if there is a "best" or what would be a better choice, don't really want to lower it....thanks for any info....

Don't know if you got some already but one of the best items you can purchase to give you better traction would be a nice set of street radials or performance tires. I'd start with those along with some lightweight wheels to give you better overall traction and acceleration. However, I wouldnt go full slicks unless you do some serious increace of HP to your engine and track it regularly. So, some good quality performance tires should suffice just fine
