my friends say it cant be done, but i think it can. im shooting to break into 13s with my setup in my profile.

currently the car is in the shop right now getting a new rebuilt tranny, a slowboy 3500 clutch, and a new mitsu flywheel. im going to change the plugs and then add a manual boost controller set at 16psi and run a few gallons of race gas with my rewired fuel pump. im also going to run an hks ssqv bov (recirc). it also just got 4 new continental contiextreme contact tires (i cant shake them free!). i also have a carbon fiber hood.

the time i ran in my profile was with wheels spinning (not a bad 60' with tire spin...) and a possibly leaky blowoff valve. i also plan on taking out the back seats, trunk, spare tire, jack, and also the headlight in front of the filter. is there any other ideas you guys might have for me to do this? preferably cheap and not too extreme. it is only to prove a point to someone. thanks.

If you're gonna run some race gas I would set the boost at like 18, it's gonna fall off anyways so you should get the most out of it while you can.

With some good driving i'm sure it can be done.

sounds good to me... i guess ill keep a close eye on the logger for the run to.

Do what I did disconnect the exhaust from the 02 housing/downpipe I ran 13.7 with out boostcontroller and just doing that and also taking out my headlight for the airfilter. Or just run race gas 18psi and do a 1.8 60 and ur set for a 13 sec slip

Honestly shouldnt be too hard> i was out at the track last night.

My car has '92 JDM 6 bolt swap with 2g exhaust manifold and T25 turbo in perfect condition. MBC pushing 17PSi, haggard homebrew o2 housing dump with stock exhaust system, on ahacked airbox with K&N filter, and I was able to put down this time with room to improve for sure. And the car has some things that need some addressing as well. My Valve cover gasket is in rough shape, and my turbo-manifold gasket is leaky. I could likely also benefit from dropping a range colder on my plugs. Also was on 93 octane, full interior minus the spare.

60ft- 1.918
1/8 - 8.942
mph- 77.70
1/4 - 14.079
mph- 94.73

My 60ft can still improve.(first time ever at the track, and my very first run I pulled a 1.8 60ft with a 14.3 @92.xxmph with a passanger), and my 1-2 shift is slower than I can do (still recovering from the launch :sneaky: )

Most important that I found in my times was to not rev over 6k, no matter what gear you're in. Anything over is out of your powerband and KILLS your time but a few tenths.

Good luck though. i was quite shocked at what time I ran considering I have a stock exhaust from the o2 housing back, and even my o2 is a non-ported ghetto wastegate dump. Not including the motor swap, I have $100 or so into the car as far as mods go. I  DSM's.

No ACT 2100. It was done when the motor was swapped out. (Crankwalk is a bi***). I let her go from about 5k.

And here's my timeslip. The car I was up against that run was a Civic hatch, NA something or other...

Hey Shawn! Still love your car incredibly. Very sexy car.

I'm picking up a 14b soon, and a logger and a S-AFC and see what I can do for next to nothing.
