Walbro fuel pump question

I have a walbro 255 in my 420a 2g. It will never need that much fuel. I was thinking of swapping fuel pumps with my 1g. I allready have an AFPR so the fuel pressure wont be a problem. Will this work?

The install kit will be different, but the pump itself will work if you can get a hold of a 1g install kit.

errr... wait... Do you mean put the 1g fuel pump into the 2gNT, or did you mean put the walbro into the 1g?

Both. The 2g has a walbro 255 and the 1g awd is stock. I want to switch them. Can you do that?

The walbro will fit the 1g, but you just need an install kit for it because it has a different wiring setup.
Putting the 1g awd fuel pump into the 2g I'm not sure about. I've heard of guys talking about doing it, but they never posted back saying if it worked or not. If it works out, post it up.
