Hi my walbro fuel pump is whining when the cars on and car has been running like crap so I bought a used walbro off the marketplace here and ill be damned if it isn't still whining. So did I get ripped off buying another bad pump or could something else cause ## fuel pump to whine like its going out?

yeap that's the same sound I heard. My other pump made the sound so I assumed it was going out. The car will drive around fine but as soon as u try to get on it it starts missing and kicking out black looking smoke. Im not sure what's causing it I will get a video of it and post it here

seems like this is what my car is doing

What plugs are you running and at what gap? What's is your base fuel pressure? Do you even have a afpr? What are you using to tune with? Are you running the stock maf with a tial unrecirculated? If your profile is correct you don't have the proper mods to run your setup yet bro! Please work on that before you melt something if you try to push boost your going to have further issues!

You can also buy a rubber sock which goes over the pump which only "reduces" the whine.
Its normal as others have posted for it to whine...especially when fuel level is low or its a hot day.

There NGK plugs and they where gap at .28 the cars running back at stock I put original injectors back on and used 91 oct gas. hopeing to fix the problem No afpr and JMF manifold with the bov is recirculated. The car ran perfectly fine for about 4-5 months then one day it started the problems so I know its not the setup that caused it.

Without a afpr and running a 255 you risk over runing the stock fpr. It may handle it for a while, but it eventually will cause problems. Since you don't have one I'm assuming you can't check base fuel pressure right? This is something you probably need to do, might shed some light on your problem. And yes as mentioned have you done a boost leak test lately?

Well I got a after market fuel regulator we a parts car I bought its brand new any write ups on how to installed it? I think I know how to do it but want to be %100 sure. I will upload a pic of it

Small barb is vacuum, and the large barb on the side is your feed from the rail. And the barb on the bottom is the return line. Something like this! And them then the nut on top is how you adjust it, base fuel pressure should be 43.5psi, with the vac line disconnected.
