Resolved Walbro 255 no pressure..

I did some searching and never found anyone with the exact problem. This isn't for my 2g its for my 1g awd. So I replaced the fuel pump with a wally 255, first test showed good pressure then went to start the car and nothing. So I checked pressure after the filter and none. Barely dribbled out. So o checked before the filter, same thing. So I decided to check right at the pump and with my tester got a whopping 2psi. So what went wrong? I can hear the pump the about as loud as my 2g 190. I haven't pulled it out to inspect yet as darkness came and Ive about had it with this car.. Anyone able to maybe she some light?

How did you connect the pump to the metal fuel outlet. If you reused the factory cap and o-ring they often come apart on 255 installs causing the pump to just recirculate the fuel in the tank.

That is what had happened, I have it secure now but now I only have 10-20 psi of pressure

Voltage?
Fuel pressure regulator?
Leaking injectors?
Clogged filter?
Still leaking at the pump?

The fuel system is pretty simple you just have to go at it systematically.
