I was just wondering if the 6bolt engine and drivetrain from a 1990 talon tsi awd , will fit bolt right into a 1991 galant vr4. ive seen the engine compartments in the vr4s and the ic hoses look to be in a different set up and probably a lot of other stuff i didnt notice. thanks

yeah but wont the 90s tranny fit into 91-94s as long as you have the 90 TC?

so does that mean ill have to look for a drivetrain from a vr4? does anyone know the differences between the drivetrains with galant vr4s, and 1g awds?

basically,
I used a galant vr4 rear end, rear axles and cups in my 91 for a swap.

and it works perfect.
only problem was the galant axles are about a inch longer.
so you may have problems with the rear axles. i used the galant vr4 engine and tranny and trans case.

so basically i had everything out of the galant, except the front axles and the drive shaft going to the rear end.

galant front axles are MUCH longer than tsi awd axles.
youll have to get axles.
i happen to have 2 front axles. for the galant. LOL.

only problem is your 90 is splined different, and your rearend is 3bolt
youd have to swap the rear wheel axle cups if you swap in your tsi rear end. so the axles will work, unless your galant was 3 bolt aswell
