Okay, I apologize to everyone before hand, because I realize that the subject of the question I am about to ask has been beaten to death. Please read through the question carefully and understand it before posting "use the search" because I have, and found nothing.

Okay, this is related to venting a bov. :toobad: I recently acquired an expensive Sard bov off of a 'linked car for a very, very good price along with the UIC piping necessary to install it. I couldn't pass up the offer. Unfortunately, I couldn't acquire the Link with it. So I'm going ahead and installing it, knowing full and well what venting will do to my motor, because my stock 2g 'bov' (if you can even call it that) is leaking bad and making all kinds of funny noises.

So my question to you is NOT whether I should recirculate or vent. I've already made my choice on that. My question is, is there anyone who has been able to find a recirculating adapter, or rather has anyone made a custom one to force a vented bov to recirculate? I assume that's possible, but I want to know what works best and how to go about getting the air back into my intake.

Thanks guys.

The bov in question is a Sard 66056.

I don't know about an adapter since i don't know what the bov looks like (searched and didn't know what i was looking at) but if it's anything like the tial Q you won't be able to recirc because it wasn't designed to, at all. If you have made the choice to run vented, i would look into switching to speed density.

Found it. It is venter similar to tial. Go SD problem solved.

I was planning on going v3 which ain't cheap. To clarify the question, is there any adapter I can use until I have enough to go link and sd?

If it looks anything like this, then I would say that you will not be able to recirculate it unless you get really fancy/overkill and build a box around it that goes back into your intake. But I wouldn't recommend that. I feel like a lot of people are going to tell you to sell it and buy a 1g bov or a greddy or something.

Good luck!

Unless Sard makes some sort of recirculation adapter (and some manufacturers do make such things for their BOVs), like everybody is suggesting, you're going to have to get creative and make something yourself that does the trick.

Okay. It's not really a huge deal cause I'll only be having problems until I go engine management with SD and that's not too far away. Thanks, all who replied
