I have crazy idle surge (at least its VERY consistant =) and i think it has something to do with my vacuum set up (could it have anything to do with the CAS being out of adjustment?....well, thats another story all together...). I've seen a few different diagrams and am wondering what are the pros-cons of running a vacuum line set up like the one pictured below (and how many people actually have their lines setup this way). Also, to have it pass smog will i just have to hook it all back to stock? Look forward to hearing from everyone.

Well, lets see.

First of all, Dont tape to the BOV for your manual boost controller,

Id run that Directly from the Turbo Outlet Nipple --> into the MBC --> and out to Wastegate actuator.

There is a Huge list of things to try for your Idle surge.

Main things would be the Biss, ISC, ect ect.

Jump over to www.vfaq.com and readup on the isc, and other idle surge things.
have you done a boost leak test? Vac test?

Thank you very much for the help...but i'm not very worried about the surge as of right now, i just want to see what is a good way to route my vacuum lines. Are there any diagrams out there that people have followed that seem to work well for them? Did anyone use any from Taboo (and if so which one).

I used the taboo one that had it setup for street, and like what was said up above do not tap into your bov line for an mbc source.
