Using a 3-4 Point harness on stock seats

Ive seen this sone, basicly you cut out 1 or 2 holes for the belts to go through so it looks exactly like a racing seat. Im only wondering this because I'm wrapping my interior and want to keep my 4 point harness in the car without going to racing seats as of yet. If you have any pics please post.

Btw- I attached an image of the back of a car on here with this idea any front pic would be awesome with 2 hole cut not 1

If you're going to run harnesses... you do not want to anchor the harnesses straight down like your pic shows.

You want to use the rear seatbelt anchors (lower ones) or make a harness bar.

Ideally, you want the rear strap to be horizontal or parallel to the ground. But, anything between that and arond 45 degrees is OK.

Having them go straight down is not right/safe.

Paul, I am awhere of that however, i just want an idea of how it looks on the stock seats. I have a 4 point harness and I have seat. Nevertheless, I have ran into some money issues and am forced to sell the seats and use the stockers.

Should look just fine. I've seen it done. Have you tried a search? I remember seeing a thread on it with pictures like a month ago.

I might have seen it on vfaq too or dsm.org.

I don't know. I just remember seeing it here in this forum about a month or two ago. Someone posted a picture.

I did a quick search on the topic and came up with a thread mentioning that you can get the harness grommets from Corbeau. This is the plastic trim ring that would go around the hole you cut. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
