I am in the middle of putting in a JDM 6-bolt engine in to my 1996 AWD TSi Talon. I want to get the ACT 2600 Clutch kit, and I was wondering if it matters that I am putting a 1g engine in a 2g car. Is this clutch universal between the 1g and 2g cars? I need to know as soon as possible so I can get it ordered tonight.

Thanks,
Brad

The clutch doesn't matter however the flywheel does.

And please change your Avatar.

Avatars should consist of a photo of your DSM. If you don't own a DSM or don't have a photo of your DSM to use, please do not use the feature. The photo should be 170 pixels wide. If it is not that size, it may not display correctly

okay so should I upgrade my fly wheel since I am upgrading my clutch as well!

How much is the XACT lightened flywheel? And is the ACT 2900 Clutch Kit better if I plan on making this a 400whp car? But it will also be my daily driving car for awhile least till I hit 400whp.

ACT2600 can easily take you into the 11's, there is no need to upgrade to an ACT2900 unless your doing like low 10's high 9's something like that. XACT Flywheel, well theres tons of vendors here, check out there websites, I believe most of them have that flywheel.

okay and on the tech guide do I need to look at the 1g turbo guide or the 2g turbo guide?
