AS you can see from the picture it looks like the outer lip of the control arm is dislodged from the main body of the arm! The separated lip is slightly touching or will touch the ball joint cover through the suspension cycle when driving...

The same thing is happeneing to my other upper control arm as well on pass side, but its not as drastic as whats show in the pic..

Any thoughts?
Car is lowered with H&R sport springs (1.7" front /rear 1.4" i think)

Bottoming out.

If you look at the upper inner fender you will see corresponding marks.

Wow, im not even that low!

I almost doubt that it is b/c my suspension bottomed out, I mean, my iiner fender is sheet metal and this control arm is much thicker and stronger thatn sheet metal. If i look under my fender tmmorow and i see marks that match this damage then :thumb: to you. I reall doubt it though

sheetmetal is actually really strong when it is braced by multiple pieces, but none the less, if it is your problem, you could take a big hammer and flatten the bent piece of metal back out and weld the seam up, that should make it stronger(if you weld it)

Mine is the same, only mines ALOT worse. I dont really worry about it. My car's been lowered for a year, hopefully it will continue to take the abuse and wont break anytime soon. *knocks on wood

Another thing i noticed is when they put my car on the lift once, that piece (shown in the picture) got stuck above the sheet metal thing in my fender well.... after prying it down with a crowbar it bent it up a little. Mechanic said it shouldnt hurt tho, so whatever. Anyone else have this problem? (btw my cars lowered 1.75" eibach sportlines)
