Lookin to upgrade my stock suspension to somthin a bit more. Askin for a smooth ride and maybe somethin to lower the ride by 1in or 2. Not tryin to spend more than $ 500 or so. Get bac at me and let me know. Ohh yeah this would help LOL, I have 98 Rs-T Eclipse FWD of course..... lata :dsm:

Well for under $500 you could look at the Koni Yellows or maybe the Tokico HPs. You can get a full set of those for around $300 or so depending on where you get them from. Springs are all depending on what you want to do and how far you want it to lower the car.

You may end up spending more than $500 unless you want to look at used springs or something like that. I would not recomend going with used struts though. Just something I would personally stay away from. For a good ride on the street and still have an agressive feel, you may want to look for rates around 350 lbs in the front and 225 - 275 in the rear. That might be what you are looking for. When you start to get around the 550 + on springs in the front, that is pretty stiff for daily driven road use. Hope some of this helps.

I just installed a set of tokico blue's with eibach sportline's on a friends Daily-Driver Talon and the ride quality was great, not too far from stock, dropped the car about 1.5inch. Whole setup was under $500 too. But like tsiboosted said, go with new stuff, it will last longer.

I once had the Eibach Sportline springs and I would not suggest them. I would suggest the Eibach Pro-kit so it gives you a nice drop and ride performance without too many drawbacks.

i run eibach pro springs on kyb agx adjustable struts on my gst. it was not a huge drop like you would get from a set of sportline springs. it dropped my gst about 1". i would suggest, like said before, DO NOT but used struts. i believe about everyone has had problems buying used setups. you never know quite what your getting. good luck
