i need some help. i was driving around one day and my car lost all power would just barley go. so i check forums and people was saying turbo problems so i put a 14b on and the seals was bad smoked like crazy, and the o2 sensor went bad so i ordered a 16g and new o2 and the turbo boost fine but no power at all won't even climb a little hill and know it will over heat and it has a little miss and sounds like i got a wrist pin knocking.

any help at all would be awsome i've got a new motor but still building it would like advice to make this one run till it's done thanks!!!

As far as the no power, do a boost leak test and go from there. The overheating could be a bunch of things check the radiator cap, and the radiator first. You can put the 180º F thermosat in and wire the fans together to help.

Do a compression test, and water pressure test, these two things will tell you if u have a serious problem, water test can tell if there is a water leak/head gasket bad

compression test will tell you if you have lost compression in one or more cylinders obviously taht would be a serious problem,

among many other things like pull plugs look to see if any one lost an electrode, or fouled.

and the tapping/knocking sound is very much not good, could be rod/main bearings, which car would run like to shit, Do a oil pressure test/check gauge (if applicable)

basically you hav ea few problems at once

thanks for the replies we found brass glitter in the oil today. that tells me alot and i ordered a new engine from slowboy. im thinking rod or main barrings..
