UICP question

I know the pipe under the fuse box is flattened but the pipe after the bov doesn't look to restrictive and salvageable...

Is it really worth paying for a S pipe if I only plan on upgraded to a t28?

When I upgrade I'm going with the Dejon-tool flanged for the Greddy type-S. You can't beat the price for a full pipe with your choice of flange and color. Only problem I've heard of is that the connector they give you is just barely big enough to fit and can pop off easily.

Why would you want a S pipe other than look?
The stock flex hose that connects to the UICP does just that-- flex. I've seen it actually expand when someone revved the engine. That can't be good. And I did notice a tad better turbo response after I installed my 'S' pipe.

I just ordered the UICP form dsmparts.com and it seems to be a nice pipe for the price only $98 for the top half and like $80 something for the bottom s pipe with all the gaskets, bolts and stuff and any color you want. Is it a difficult task to change out the pipes?? like the top where the flex section is??

It depends on what FMIC you get. Some route to the stock sidemount location, while others are use what's called "short-route piping" which goes directly from the FMIC to the engine. If you get a FMIC that's intended to use the regular pipe routing to where the stock sidemount was, you can still use the UICP you have. Otherwise, you'll need custom piping done, or maybe it will come with the FMIC-- I don't know.
