Ugh I crossed my mind.....

I doubt there would be any significant difference in performance gains between the two. And both are well made pieces. I would go with the one that I can could get cheapest, and that is in stock ready to go

Well the sooner you order it the faster it gets in your hands. Ive got the JM Fab Intake and I love it!

Magnus has had a ton of manifolds that have cracked but then again they have sold alot more so the chances of them being really old and cracking is higher.

I personnaly know of a 10 sec car that gained 10awhp going from a magnus to a jm fab.

Personally I think the JMF has a lot better design with the whole Plenum and the velocity stacks. wtih the Magnus the velocity stacks sit a lot higher up and cause a lot more interference with the air reaching the number one runner. The JMF's sit a lot lower and have a little sleeker profile to them.

if your going to do it, do it once and go with the ams vsr

Can you give specific reasons why? I think you guys are just looking at the price or name of the company. Then saying its got to be alot better because it is made by them or it is more expensive so it has to be better.
I am going ywith the jm fab intake because it has proven itself on some local dsm cars. And evileagle has one also so that proves it is a good choice (he ran nines with it). And I have heard nothing about the magnus except for a few cracking.

but remenber the vsr has held over 1000 awhp and 45+psi

Bean from TurboTrix switched to a JMfab mani over his magnus and picked up some mph in the quarter. Also, JM's plenum has much less welds than the magnus, less prone to cracking something you dont have.
