The picture at the bottom is not the ME 4-12's engine. That's the Bugatti engine, which is a V16 quad turbo. Count the exhaust runners, and look at the Bugatti logo :rolleyes:
 
nice but thats a rendering of what looks like a concept. im not sure if its a concept or a working vehicle but i know thats rendered. still nice.

Small, but theres 4 of them, and 16 cylinders. Yeah i would like to know if they ever made this car, i asked a while ago but no one answered me:(
 
hey i was just wonderin if 1g talons came stock with a twin turbo ever i never thought they did but some people at school today say that when there brothers had one they came stock with twin turbo's. i jus said that they were stupid and dont kno nothin bout talons but i jus wanna check to make sure??

They're thinking of Stealths and 3000GTs, if you want to call that thinking.

hey everyone, i've done alot of research online, and have looked through all of the forums already... but i can't seem to find any information on putting twin turbo systems into 2g eclipses. I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge on the compatability of 3000gt twin turbo systems in 2g eclipse engines. There would obviously be plenty of other expenses for supporting mods, but if anyone knows of twin turbos that work please tell me. i have a project car with plenty of time and plenty to learn about turbos. thanks. -p- :dsm:

But what about plenty of money?? ;) . I have heard myths about a TT eclipse but i can't recall any pictures. I have seen a twin engine dsm though OMG. Sorry i couldn't help much. Keep in mind alot of TT people want to convert to single turbo. :thumb:
 
There was a long post about this a while ago, a guy actually did it, and was not satisfied with it. he was using small turbos and still not spooling till 4000+ RPM. Twin Turbo on a 2.0 liter motor is not an effective way to gain power. Ill try to find the thread if you really want to try it, but I think you would be better off just tryin to make some other custom stuff for your car.
 
You could supercharge it, I remember someone on here doing it and i beleive it ran high 11's if im not mistaken

no flaming....! ive seen it somewhere they were selling a twin turbo kit for a gst-gsx... iam not sure if it was mass produces... one spooling the other faster type deal... its out there somewhere..just keep looking...iam not to sure if anyones doing it though...
 
my buddy has a 94 3000gt twin turbo, i smoked him off the line :cool: all the way up to 3rd gear wher he started to catch up OMG , but hes looking into chaining it to a single turbo,he says it takes to long for both turboS TO SPOOL UP. arond 7psi of boost in 4th gear arond 3500 rpm, tops out about 10 psi 1st-3rd.alot of guys say a single turbo is beter because first its cheeper, quicker spool up, less parts, maintance, and you cant really get more boost out of two then just one.stick with ONE!!!!!! :thumb:

Yes. There is none.

The twin turbo setup is because the V gives you what are essentially two engines. So there's a blower for each 3-cylinder.

It's less than pointless on a 4-cylinder, 2-liter engine.
 
Doug's Dyno Power tried a twin turbo setup on a laser back in 2000. I don't think it worked very well. Late spool and no more power than a large turbo. http://www.ddynopower.com/gsx.html (top paragraph) You could probably email him for pics and with questions. I think it was two t-25s but it's been a little too long for me to remember.
 
Dougs setup was twin T25s and he did advertise it on all the dsm sites when he sold it.

twin t25 sounds like a bad idea. You are right and that is what he used though. The hot side would be pretty large for a 1.0l motor but you just run out of compressor wheel. You are still only pushing less than 600 cfm at 15 psi (18g....) with slow spool up from the hotside. I think he should (or someone buy the manifold, I'm sure it's around) but with two t28, maybe the big 28 wheel and the stock t25 exhaust side/wheel. Now It would be flowing over 1100 cfm and still spool up a little better than a 25g(1000cfm). His combo whs just really under sized on the cold side. In theory it should work just fine but it would be more expensive.
