OK well I took out the passenger airbag and I am looking to install a tv into the open area. I know it will throw on a light, but that is fine with me. I am looking for any good ideas beacuse I am using the stock cover and want to make it go up and down with an actuator or something. If you have any ideas of how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I did see that video. Thats exactly where I got the idea. I am wondering if anyone has an idea about what he might have used to get the cover to go up and down by a motor. I looked at all of the comments on that video with no results. So if you might have any idea, it would be greatly appreciated.

What about using some power antenna motor or any kind of actuater. either on a toggle switch or a remote ?

I will look into the power antenna motor. Thats a great ideaand it will definately be wired onto a switch. Thanks. Do you have any ideas on what supports that I could use. What im trying to do is in the video above. Thats exactly where I got the idea. I wouldnt know what supports to use to make it flip up.

Start by measuring the (compressed length) & (full-extended length) after you take measurements of each side and have made a custom mount for the two motors. I would have to guess at around (6in) (hood support struts) with both ends being (ball & socket) to give some play.
