Thank you everyone for your concerns...i am stuck in the middle because i have no idea what to do...i called the guy who tuned my car last night and he said he always tunes DSMs to be between 11.5 - 12.1...now after hearing what all of you guys say when i heard him say 12.1 i was shocked. He swore up and down that i was completly ok.

Wow, that suprises the hell out of me. I could see if you were running race gas at the track and had DSMLink, but with a SAFC, pump gas, and no logger, that's just nuts.

If it were my car, this is what I would do. Get yourself a really cheap 100 series Palm off ebay if you are tight on cash. You can pick them up for about $10 - $15. If not, I would suggest spending a little more money for one with rechargable batteries. If the palm doesn't come with a serial hotsync cable, get one of those also.

Here, I found one for you because I'm a nice guy..... :p

Go to www.pocketlogger.com and buy their OBD-II software package for $125. In the meantime, post up your Hi throttle SAFC settings and we can richen things up until you get the logger. If you don't know how to access the settings, let me know and I will walk you through it.

Joe, If you have an AEM then it is able to log internally all of the sensor inputs for you. You won't have to go out and get a seperate logger. It might be that there are still the logs from the shops dyno pulls on your AEM? I would check that out first.

Yeah the AEM gauge is great, what i think they were talking to about monitoring was the knock...i have the SAFC but apparently that doesn't matter.

BUT...when i am at WOT my knock reads 0...actually it always reads zero, except for sometimes when im at idle it will start to creep up a little...that i dont understand?

As for just turning down the boost abit to get a richer air/fuel ratio this isn't always the case. The ecu adds/removes fuel based on the amount of airflow the MAS see's.

But you are right on that one. That is what Extreme told me. If you think about it, if it was at 25psi and i was getting on it, it would be ridiculously rich because it would have been programmed to pump more fuel in since it was thinking there is more air when there really isn't as much because i have it at 18psi. That is why i have confidence that is ok...BUT i am sure you can prob. squeeze out a little better of a tune, and i would do it, if i knew what i was doing and had dyno or just an S load of cash.
