turbo waste gate soleniod / crappy idle

When i went to start my car today it was having a hard time. Then when it did start it would barely idle. So i started looking for any messed up vacuum lines and during my search i found that a wire to my waste gate soleniod broke (rotted) off. I checked my vacumm lines and they seem fine. Could this be my culprit. And also does anyone now how to replace the connectors or where i can get one. I bought the car a little while back, and it was running fine for the past couple of weeks.

I'm not sure what wires or connector your talking about, but if its just a regular one, AutoZone has a decent section of connectors and wire. So does radioshack. Homedepot or lowes might have what your looking for. And HarborFrieght over in gaithersburg or baltimore(I used to live out there) sells bulk connectors..

Do you know what the pins are called inside the connector. The wire broke right were it meets the connector for the waste gate soleniod. That what i need, if it was somewhere down the line that wouldn't be a problem. But ive never replaced the pins in a connector before. Hey thanks by the way.

Woah...sorry, didnt realize you live so far away...go to radio shack and get 2 of these:

You should be able to cut off the old connector, and crimp these bad boys on each wire. Make sure they fit on the BCS FIRST and also make sure you know which wire goes to which before you cut it! Good luck....
