turbo timer problem

i have a hks turbo timer with the harness and i connected it its mostly plug and play. i plugged the both socket easy then black ground and brown e brake that's all. and my problem is when i go to the rpm mode it doesn't display my current rpm im at it stays a 0. is there something els i have to connect because theirs more wires.

i dont think the rpm mode actually shows what rpm you rev to, it just means it will automatically set the amount of turbo timing based on how high you were revving the rpms during the trip, but thats my experience from other turbo timers.

do you have the Type 0 or Type 1 I have the Type 1 special edition and there should be an RPM wire on it I believe it is Brown the parking break wire is gray atleast on the type 1 thats how they are. and the Blue one is the speed sensor wire and im sure u have the type one because the type 0 doesnt do RPM the parking break wire is gray. instructions

to the rpm and speed wire of the ecu, check vfaq for wiring diagram of the harness
