turbo info from locals please throw ## 2 cents in

so long story short my t66 bb turbo was sold after i left it at my buddys so now i need to start from the beggining and its not coming outa my pocket so im in the process of trying to buy one on here its a gt35r what do u guys think of this turbo and its potential

what are your goals for the car? Drag only? DD? Street/strip? That is going to be the biggest determining factor. The 35r is a single digit capable turbo with the proper supporting mods and tuning. However if you plan on DDing or ever trying autox or road racing it wouldn't be my first chioce. Check out this thread: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/turbo-system-tech/356422-hx35-bolt-35r.html. It has a lot of good info on spool times and airflow ratings along with some other worthy options to consider.

i have a gt35r already but i think im going with an fp red but if you do research you'll get better numbers with a hx35-40 than with the 35r but if you have the money the fp red is a sick turbo

well i wanna put it back to how it was when it had the t66 on it ,but since i have to start all over with the turbo kit i saw a new Punishment Racing Twin Scroll T3 manifold with a semi used gt35r and two 44mm cnr wastegates for 1650 , is this a good deal or should i just buy the mani n wastegates for 850 also i read alot of treads were this turbo is quick to boost and u can push it up to 650 hp with the supporting mods ???? what do u guys think
