Turbo Exhaust

I'm sure this answer has been answered many time on here before but i cant seem to find an answer on here myself. so anyways i have a na-t eclipse and i was just wondering if gst exhaust will bolt right up to my car?

yes it will bolt right up. Be sure you use one from a gst same gen. I've been running an apexi N-1 gst spec for about 4 years now and love it. I do think that my motor drones out the exhaust though and I can't really hear it. Motor is fully built!

keep in mind what your going to do to the car later on and plan accordingly for the exhaust size, biger is better for turbo. the n-1 is a great system as it is really big and gets even bigger near the end, like 3.3 inch. It sounds really deep and not civic like.

hey got another question bout tis as for the down piping since dsm-zero sed it wont fit what will? and ### about the gsx exhuat system will it be the same bolt pattern or its different? thanks

There aren't many good downpipes for the 420A. A few companies make them, but if you're talking turbo-downpipe, then you'll need to get something custom made.

GSX (AWD) systems are routed differently so as not to interfere with the rear drivetrain of the AWD version DSMs.

thanks for the help guys i was planning on running greddy evo 2 exhaust for a gst i guess i will have to call them on the pipe size im sure its 3inch do you think that will be sufficent enought i'm currently building the motor and gt40 61trim please let me know.
also for the guy with the question about a downpipe i work in the same building as straightline specialties and he charges around 300 for a custom downpipe and they look pimp hit him up on here psi2hi

Is that turbo a full T4 turbo or is it a T3/T4.......what is the discharge diameter on the exhaust housing also...

how much hp are you looking for???

t3/t4 and im not sure of the discharge...500hp is my goal

when you order that evo 2 exhaust make sure its for the GST, and even then I think its a little smaller than 3" exactly but not by much.

Just my 0.2 as someone that has had the EVO2, I loved it, but it came with my car and probably isn't worth the price, espcially if your going with a custom setup for the down pipe.

they have some PIT exhaust on clearance and they sound beautiful, check out the sound clips.

You can also compare the size of the exhaust that greddy makes, I don't think its quite 3" even with the GST exhaust.

EDIT: My bad its 80mm as well, its the apex N1 that starts out smaller at 70mm-74mm and then gets as big as 85mm before the can.

My N-1 is friggin huge. It does get bigger just before the axle and the bend. I think they advertised it as 3inch then 3.4 at the end.
