I've read so much that i've changed my mind about 8 times so far... First, I'll talk about what i'm looking for from the cars performance. supporting mods are taken care of, if you'd like me to list them, i will.

I'm going for a "road racing" car. will do some auto-x but tahts not a big deal... fully spooled to a max of 25 psi by 4000 RPM. Should also be able to power me to a high 11 second time in the quarter mile. NOT a daily driver car. looking for about 400 awhp

Cost is important... with all the money i'm dumping into this car, i'm trying to make extremely cost effective choices. I should be able to install this turbo for $1000 or less. however if you really convince me a may be able to stretch up a bit.

Now, to the turbo's i've looked at.

Evo3 = not big enough
20g, doesn't seem to provide the spool/power i'm looking for
Bullseye T04B... "old" but mostly worried about intake air temps

I had decided on the AGP RS60t Seems like it will take me where i want to be easily and efficiently. decent warranty, and good company rep. Almost too large.

Now i'm looking into slowboys turbos. have heard mixed vendor reviews, and no warranty... but they offer soo many damn turbos, i'm not sure what exactly to look for in seperation between close competitors.

Bullseye now has a "GT30R" on their website for a little out of my pricerange... :(

I think a 57 trim, or 60 trim would be best, however the cost effectiveness of the RS60t is still in the back of my mind all the time. I can't afford and FP, I like that Bullseye offers a 2 year no hassle warranty for a limited cost.

Please help me make sense of all this. and don't give me shit thinking i didn't read, because i've read more reviews on these turbos then is healthy. (and yes, even after every discussion, i'm very okay with buying from bullseye)

RS60T here. On a built 2.4 w/FP3's and a bunch of other stuff. What motor, etc, are you putting it on?

Anyway, to quote a DSM cliche, "lag is overrated."

i have an RS60T with FP2 Cams on a 2.0 with water injection.. i am happy with the turbo, very satisfied with the warrantythe quality of the turbo is excellent and if it wasnt i could just send it back and get a new one free of charge. for the money, this turbo is awesome. check it out at agpturbo.com.if they still had the rs52 i would of gotten that one but hey nothing better then a 60-1 :thumb:

This will be on a 7-bolt 2.0 for now.
Everything is being controlled by DSMlink, sensors are Zeitronix (boost, egt and wideband o20, fuel is walbro 255hp, 850 injectors, AFPR, gauge... quality diverter valve and MBC... etc

head is going to have a minimal amount of work done to it, however no cams. plan to rev to 7500 max.

when i blow it up or the crank walks, i'll be going with a 6bolt (don't think i'll stroke it) with a SMIM, cams, and forged internals. until then, lets push that "stock 7 bolt" limit ;)

Other thing i forgot to mention. I will be internally gating this turbo, which as i understand on the RS60T basically means can't run under 17 psi... which is okay for me I believe. (my dowpipe is an o2 eliminator from VRS exhaust... asked them to make the wastegate portion as large as possible for a large internally gated turbo)

haha Lag is slightly overrated, (especially with that "lag eliminator" down by your right hand) but road racing needs a slightly larger power band.

T04B, and why not? Good for 11 sec 1/4 passes as long as you've got the setup.
I don't see why it wouldn't spool in the range you're looking for on a 2.0
I'm internally gated and I don't have creep issues *strange but true*

Mine spools quick and hits HARD! It's FAR less expensive then the GT stuff and I'm sure you will be happy with it. I ran a 13.2 with a 2.2 60ft, with a clutch I could have made 12.1 and I trapped at 110mph with the 13.2 so you know this turbo pulls like a raped ape.
On a stock motor/head with over 120k miles. :sneaky:

why not a "super 50" from agp. It flows more than your standard 50trim and can make really good power on and off pump gas. Has great spool caractaristics, and can run the amount of boost you are looking at. Not to mention agp's customer service is second to none kevin has been the most helpful person I have dealt with when it comes to customer service.
