Ok guys, which turbo would be the better buy, The APG Full Garrett T3/T4 60-1 trim or the FP Green? This would be on my car, daily driver, street racer during the weekend & track on occasion. I was reading the dsmtuners forum and they seem to love both turbos, well, It's time to see which is better. Also, Gotta find out which is better so I can see If I need to cancel my APG 60-1 . Things I want to consider are lag time, top end power, 1/4 time potential, Max WHP potentail and streetablilty. (remember, this car will be ran mostly on pump gas.)

well the green uses a 50trim compressor wheel so you can expect good pumpgas numbers with it. Expect more lag especially between shifts from the 60-1. I guess in topend though the 60-1 will be a better choice. Both turbo's tuned right with enough supporting mods will make a very quick car.

The FP Red is the comparative turbo to the 60-1, not the green.

You might want to change the title. The Turbo Battle will get some posts that are not really relavant. Try something like, "Help me decide on a turbo please."

I just got a agp t3/t04s 60-1 installed with a bunch of other things and I love it.... yeah the lag sucks conmpared to my BigT-28 but I have noticed a lot of things that i like better about the 60-1/ My overall ride seems to be smoother when at mid throttle.... not getting into boost while changing lanes is nice (saves minimal gas) and when you want it.... stomp the gas and the thing cooks. I broke traction last night at a 50mph roll until about 60mph on OK Hancook tires.

I can attest for 95TSiNewbie's 60-1, its laggy but you forget about the lag once you start moving. I'd say go for the 60-1, but its all dependent on what you wanna do/what hp you wanna make with your car.

Larry doesnt know anything.... j/k... he helped me with all the chaos of all my custom installs. When this turbo hits full boost (4000rpms with my setup) it throws you into your seat and takes you for a ride... I added a Modded WS6 TA (atleast CAI and exhaust) to my kill list last night... first on the list with my 60-1 though. goodluck
