Turbo Back Exhaust help

So i just purchased my Cat-Back -- Thermal R&D Turbo Exhaust Mitsubishi Eclipse 2G DSM 95-99 - B301-C301

But i dont want to hack the pipes to fit it on my stock cat, but i plan on getting turbo-back, is there another way to get it on without compromising the full 3" im aiming for?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong...but based upon what I've read, I'm pretty sure the Thermal necks down to fit to the stock cat.

With that said, if you were to hack up the pipe, it would be to make it a full 3".

Sorry i just read the description and it does say it will not bolt up to the stock cat

Im kinda in the same boat. I have enough for parts of the pipe but not the whole thing. Just wait untilyou have the exhaust system then bolt it all on together.

Just get a megan racing downpipe. I believe it deletes the cat and is cheap.

Also look into the punishment racing downpipe. It's a tad cheaper than the megan and also deletes the cat.

Oh yes I would look into punishment. That way you buy from one of our supporting vendors!

But if you buy the megan racing one it should go from your o2 housing right to your thermal cat-back system. I know of a few people running the MR downpipe with the Thermal catback.
